lol!!!! honestly, my wife would see right threw that. maybe if something like it comes up again, i'll see what i can do. the UFC isn't like it used to be. when each pay per view was a tournament. now it's set matches. you never know though.

yeah, it's not "official" but it's something that i can say i've done. i actually enjoyed it and thought about doing a little more. BUUUUUT.... the wife isn't particularly thrilled about the idea.

yes, johnny cash's mother and my great grand mother were sisters. so it's slightly distant cousins. it's still cool. and yes, i do have a 1-1 UFC record. it's an unofficial record though. the win and loss were from a UFC qualifying tournament.

Yes...it was very big...and it was only the 2nd year. I was meeting with someone and I got in line late. It took me an hour to get in and when I finally got in the line was just as long as when I got in it.

They talked about taking over the whole thing

Other than Planet Comicon in KC I have been to New York Comicon, Wizard World Boston, and Wizard World Philly.

It was easier to go to them when I was at my last job as I traveled a lot.

I just love going to conventions and seeing multiple copies of awesome books all lined up.

Of course we only get 1 main convention in the KC area each year with some smaller "regional" ones that could be held in my basement.

Another reason to move to CA

Are you also batfan on comicspace.com too? I thought you left a comment on my page there (which I haven't visited in a year). Batfan didn't, but there is an inactive batfan on that site.

Ah. Thought it was a maybe Dave Navarro, Grohl, or some sci-fi villain. I will have to check the band out again. I haven't listened to them in a long time.
