I was looking for something different to read, getting away from the super hero comics that dominate my collections.  I wanted something different and since I loved all those walking dead/zombie movies and most of the 80’s B rate zombie flicks, I honed my search for a good zombie title.

 

That’s when I came across Image’s “The Walking Dead” series.  From the first issue I was hooked and had to read more.  It was not just the storyline that grabbed my attention; it was the feel of the comic that kept me coming back issue after issue.  These comics made me feel like the first time I watched “Night of the Living Dead” and the moment when the first zombie smashed the man’s head off the tombstone.
