" The Contest" is another awesome book by Matthew Reilly. Again I cant say enough of this mans style and writing. Stephen Swain is a single dad of a 5 year old girl and a full time doctor. All he wants is to spend more time with his daughter. He Finally gets a weekend off and is determined to be a good dad, but it is not be. For the past 7000 years a contest has been held to find the greatest warrior in the galaxy. The rules are simple, you cant leave the area of the Contest and it is a fight to the death. Five of the most ferisome and deadlist warriors in the universe and Stephen Swain with his daughter! " I'm a healer not a killer" he thinks. Oh and one other thing the Contest this time is at the New York Public Libray! It is done in Mattew Reilly own heart-pounding speed. I could not and would not put it down. Reilly throws you into the middle of the fray and wont let you go. I've rarly had this much fun reading one authors books.
