Sorry it has been a while but, lately I have been blowing though everything this man has written and cant seem to put down even I wanted to. There are some authors who's books should automaticlly be made into major motion pictures. Just to name some of them like Koontz, Cussler, Crition and now REILLY.
Think Indiana Jones meets Rambo. Big time adventure, big guns, big charactors, with more than a little history thrown in good measure. Matthew Reilly's books read more like a movie than a work of fiction.
It all starts in "7 Deadly Wonders". A multi-national team of soldiers, led byJack West Jr., codename Huntman. Everyone seems to have a codename in this book. West team needs to find where certain parts of the "7 greatest wonders of the world" are to pervent the end of the world from solar flares. Dont worry its been done before, some 3000 years before! The clues to earths survivial are written a dead languge that only one person can read, A 9 YEAR OLD GIRL. The sytory goes from one side of the planet to the other. The pace that this book sets will give whiplash and keep you screaming for more.
