So as my long box project for the last few weeks has been to sit down read the story Maximum Carnage. When I started off I read part one. I wrote the inital review to this blog. I am know through the first half of the story. I must say this is truely an event that has a lot of decompression

Within seven parts we have spidey gathering a team against carnage that he kind of doesn't want to be a part of; as the makeup is people with questionable morals. The team battles carnage and his "family" several times only to either get smacked down or barely escape. It isn't until part seven do we see a real plan come together.  This story could have been a little shorter if a few parts where compressed together in an issue. Don't get me wrong though; this story still has some great components.

Spidermans ability to rally back up after been struck down. His overall sense of responsibilty to his famliy and the citizens of New York. Plus the story works well with the longer arc of his parents return after so many years of being presumed dead.
