""You can't spell assassin without sin and twice the ass!"-Deadpool"

I live in Ardmore, Oklahoma. I have always had a passion for collecting and reading comic books. This passion was renewed after meeting my best friend who got me back into comics. Now I can't get enough!

Small rant about Hastings.

I live in a town where we do not have a comic shop. I have to drive at least 150 miles to a shop that has really great back issue selection or purchase them over the internet. So I was really excited when our local Hastings started carrying back issues. They have always had a good selection of currents. So I have had a great time pillaging their back issue bins and purchase current comics as well. My rant though is this. They do not ever restock their back issue bins and they never have the new releases out on time. I have been reading the new Shadowland series and they have yet to put the new issues and tie-ins on the shelf. I can never find an employee to see when they are going to put the new product out either. So I guess it will be back to driving 150 miles just to get better service and more of the comics I love. Sorry, but I had to vent just a little. ;)

Dallas Comic Con

Went to my first Comic Expo. It was in Dallas, TX and was put on by Official Pix. This show was awesome. I have never been to one before and can't wait until I can go to another one now! This place had a lot of the things I was looking for. I found so many back issues that I needed and picked up some classic Silver Age comics too. I loved looking at all the vendors and checking out new items coming out. The artists that were there were all excellent, I picked up a few prints and can't wait to get them framed and hung up for the world to see. I just can't believe how awesome this show was and I know it wasn't even a bigger expo but I saw so much and had so much to take in.
