I write comic book reviews that NOBODY has ever asked for!
IF YOU GRIT YOUR TEETH AT THE THOUGHT OF "SOCIAL JUSTICE" OR "FORCED DIVERSITY" IN COMICS, DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW.

In keeping with my current efforts to more familiarize myself with the current state of Mainstream Marvel Superhero Comics, I've enlisted my comic collectin' daughter to help me out a bit.
With a few exceptions (such as Captain America, Punisher, and Moon Knight), I'm just not really interested in much that Marvel has been putting out for quite a while now, as far as their superheroes go.
It's not that I don't like Marvel. . .it's just that honestly I'm more of a DC guy when it comes to NEW comics. Give me some Bronze-Age Marvel, though, and I'm a happy man.- read more
Welcome to another "Retro Review" edition of Longbox Junk, where I take a look at some of the more "Collectable" or "Valuable" comics I own instead of my usual dollar box fare. Allow me to explain. . .- read more
I don't like the X-Men. I never have.
Moon Knight is a character that is often referred to as "Marvel's Batman".

I know. . .I know. Since I tend to post these very late at night (or early in the morning, depending on how you look at things), it's probably November 1 for most of those reading.
I DID have 2 more Halloween posts I was planning on throwing down before the 31st, but due to unforeseen work circumstances (another local hotel had a gas leak and my hotel inherited all their guests, so we've had a sold out house when we're usually running about 30-40%) I haven't had the time I usually have this time of year to read and review comic books.- read more
