glibby3 Collector in Training Posts: 11 My Collection	Posted: March 5, 2020 8:42:39 am I purchased some modern books and paid a little extra to get some top loaders with them so I could see if they were something I may want to add to my storage methods. The question I have is "Will the silver age size top loader fit into the standard long/short boxes"? Using a ruler and reading the size description it appears that it is either a "no" or a tight fit. Any one with experience using these that can provide clarification would be greatly appreciated.
MacheteF7 Comic Guru lifetime member Location: Vermont Posts: 639 My Collection	Posted: March 5, 2020 9:16:10 am If you're talking about the rigid top loaders, I have about 20 or so of them and they do fit in regular cardboard long boxes but it's not a perfect fit. They are slightly diagonal/shifted and not perfectly perpendicular to the box wall like a normal book would be. They seem fine to me like this but like I said, it's only like 20 of them. If it were a full box of them then it's possible they might not fit right. I can't justify spending the money to have that many lol, they're expensive! But I do like them. I was thinking the diagonal would probably work as long as it isn't too many and forcing me to buy more boxes. The cost is why I only got them for a handful of books to test them out. I'll probably just buy a small amount a couple times a year as birthday/xmas presents to myself and use them for my more prized issues.
