- Justice League of America #151-#160
Although he's done a few issues before, we are now entering the Gerry Conway era. And, much like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. This set features the high of a Christmas issue in #152 and a less than thrilling JLA/JSA crossover that involves time lost DC heroes like Jonah Hex and Viking Prince. The Atom also gets married in issue #157.
I don't know how Dillin did these Giant Sized issues month after month, but the schedule even gets to him. George Tuska steps in for an issue and Juan Ortiz also does part of another. JLA returns to a regular sized comic at the end of this run.
This is also the era of voting in the JLA letter columns. First there was a vote for favorite JLA members. Then a vote for three members to join and three members to leave.
The top vote getter for joining the JLA does so in the next issue....

- Not going to make it.....but not going to stop trying. If only I can remember which boxes I stored all those Sergio Aragone comics that had no words.
45. Farmhand #10 – Still a good read from Rob Guillory. 46 & 47. Nomen Omen #1 & #2 – New Series from Image, nothing about this new series that caught any interest for me to continue buying this comic. 48. The Electric Black #3 – Supernatural/cursed items in a shop, still an interesting read. 49 & 50. The Plot #1 & #2 – New series from The Vault. Good supernatural mystery read. 51-55. Contagion #1 - #5 – A Marvel mini-series about a mystical virus created in K’un-Lun.

- Justice League of America #161-#178
Zatanna joins, Black Lightning is offered a spot but declines and Green Arrow just won't leave. (yet!)
This era has the three parter with the Secret Society of Super Villains that would eventually lead to Brad Meltzer's Identity Crisis. It also has the death of Mr. Terrific in a JLA/JSA Team Up. J'onn J'onzz even returns for a couple of issues.
18 more for 101 and CHALLENGE MET.

- Got through a few more comics today.
56-61. DCeased #1 - #6 – Good Read. I love zombie stories. I didn’t like the origin of the virus. Also, I thought that Batman’s costume was bulletproof, and was puzzled how easily it was torn through by fingernails and teeth. Sad to see how easily Batman was infected. 62. The DCeasing #1 – Tie in with the DCeased mini.
