  • Both you and MacheteF7 stirred my interest in that Blossoms 666 book, and picked up the last remaining cover C variant at the LCS today. In addition to that, I found a Vampironica #1 in the dollar bins. So, now 2 current Archie books added to my collection!
People want to know. How can I live like this? The risks? The times I've descended into madness? The times I've died? How can I live like this? How could I live any other way?

  • Nice! I really have fun with the modern Archie horror stuff. In April they are crossing Jughead the Hunger (werewolf) with Vampironica!

  • Now that does sound interesting. I read both the Blossoms and the Vampironica book, and thoroughly enjoyed them both.
Now, they did have a Jughead the Hunger that was a Werewolf by Night #32 homage that I have been wanting. If I remember correctly, there was some sort of problem with the printing, and all copies that were produced came out in pretty bad condition. Occasionally I will do a search for it, but haven't found any decent copies of it.

  • I just have the regular covers for the entire series, but of course as a Moon Knight fan you need that one! Best wishes on finding a good one.

  • I had the Journey into Unknown worlds in my hands last week, but available spending funds vs the books I "needed" prevailed, and I was forced to put it back. It does look interesting enough, and I love these retro-eque-reboot books that Marvel is doing. Kind of takes you back in time. I may have to give it another look, if they still have it now knowing the writer for that Cherry Blossoms book is the same for this book. I did enjoy the Cherry book.

  • Episode 177: Cool Comics is Like a Box of Chocolates...that's right, you never know what you're going to get with CCIMC, and being that we're publishing on Valentine's Day, you just knew we'd have to go with a romantic theme. We're bringing you a mix this episode that varies from Valentine's Day red on the covers to hearts circling young lovers' heads to dashing spies to outright romance comics.

  • Picked up the new DD#1 last week and enjoyed it. Even happier that there was not a big wait from the end of the last volume.

Now that battle is probably one that I bet nobody has thought of. I may have to put my thinking cap on before responding on your blog. I am fans of both.

Nice touch tossing up some of the romance titles to go with the holiday. I peek at some of the golden/silver age titles for sale here and again, and wow, some are pretty pricey, especially in the higher conditions. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby both have done some work in the romance books.

  • Spector, I think the Daredevil - James Bond fight could be very interesting, if 007 has the right gadgets.

And yes, high grade romance titles can get pricey. It never bothers me to get low grade comics, because then I get the joy of reading them, can put them in my blog, and have plenty left over for the new stuff coming out.
