  • Hey All,
I'm going to Florida SuperCon this weekend to get some books autographed. CBCS will be on site and I was wondering if anyone knew the con process vs. sending it in. I've only purchased 3 graded books before (all CGC), but never sent one in myself. Do they grade, verify and seal on the spot or are they still shipped off?
    Thanks in advance.

  • They take the books back to HQ, grade and seal them there. The main reasons for turning in books to CGC at a Con are:

    (1) They can witness and verify a signature there, otherwise it is not verified. CBCS will verify without witnessing.
    (2) You save postage and insurance to ship books to them.
The joy is in the journey, not just the destination.
