    As per your second question, no they do not, only when you submit them for approval will you get points...

    Follow the BLUE ARROW (on the left) to submit cover scan...once you click the RED box circled on the pic on the left above (Red means No Scan, Grey means Scan) follow the prompts from there, Crop to include NO Background at all, only the book and scale to the proper size (both you can do by right clicking the pic and opening in PAINT... for the size, click RESIZE, click PIXELS at the top and change the BOTTOM # to 700 and it will scale automatically...to CROP, just pull the dots (rotate to do the other 2 sides)
