  • here a few valiant comics to add.

i'll start with the valiant validated signature series
all issues have coa's unless specified.

    bloodshot #0 (2,500 copies)
bloodshot #6 (2,000 to 2,500 copies) no coa pre-dates vvss but counted as such anyway
eternal warrior #27 (less than 1,000 copies)
geomancer #1 (less than 1,000 copies)
    magnus #25 (5,500 copies)
    psi-lords #1 (800 copies)
    Rai #9 (5,500 copies)
    rai #21 (1,00 copies)
    secret weapons #11 (1,600 copies)
    shadowman #0 (1,300 copies)
timewalker #1 (less than 1,000 copies)
x-o manowar database (around 2,500) from diamond distributers but counted as such anyway. it may or may not have a coa, as there are more comics than certificates.

here a few other variant covers and such

deathmate previews (you have them listed as #0's so...)
#0 is green from advance comics
#0a is green from comic defense
#0b is orange from the inside of a previews issue
#0c is pink which was included with a previews issue
there is also a gold variant for the red and epilogue issue's

i am not sure which previews issues those are. if i find out i'll let you know.

    destroyer #0 has 2 versions.
a cardstock cover with a $2.95 cover price
a regular cover with a $2.50 cover price.

the harbinger trade paperback has two more versions
    a 2nd print
    and a blue variant cover
they have the same cover price and dates as the original

the rai trade has a blue variant with the same cover price and date as the original
there is also a rai companion that came with the trade.

the second life of dr. mirage #1 has a gold variant

visitor vs the valiant universe #1 and #2 have a $2.95 cardstock cover and a $2.50 regular cover each.

    x-o manowar #50 has 2 versions a #50-x and a 50-o they were both printed in october 1995 2 weeks apart
there is also a blue variant for the x-o trade
and there is a video game variant for the iron man / x-o manowar issue.

darn, the list didn't look that long on paper, lol.

  • This will take awhile (should have them done by tonight). Today is a busy busy day. I have already added the first three and hopefully over lunch I will be able to add more.

Since you are a huge valiant fan does that mean you will be able to submit all of the covers?

I know, I know wishful thinking. Very Happy

  • Actually, when you are looking at the comic details, if there is no cover image added, you will see an "upload image now" link.

Most if not all of these are probably found at www.valiantcomics.com. Please make sure you crop your images to remove any "slop". If you have a question about what I mean, please see the Cover Submission Guidelines post

  • Sorry for the long delay with a reply.

You got everything but the Rai Companion #1 which was published in december 93 and reprints the origin of bloodshot.
Bob Layton wrote it and Sean Chen arted it.

Your site is great and very much appreciated. I have told all of my friends about it, and anybody else that will listen, lol.

I will post some more as soon as I can. Thanks. Very Happy

  • I have added it as Rai Special #1.

If you are going to submit covers from the Valiant website, can you please clean them up first?

    Thanks!
