At the same time I am selling a bunch of books, today I ran across a nice deal on Batman 3 & 4.

That leaves only Batman 1, 9, 47 and 49 to go! Gonna have to sell a bunch for any chance of Batman 1. This month I'm considering listing my Amazing Spider-man comics as a set, missing only about 50 books 1-560. Most missing are in the 400s and 500s.

Whoops! Up popped a VG copy of Batman 9 - now on the way!

Now if I can make a "flea market find" of a complete Batman 1, I'll be about to cross the finish line.

Congrats!

Have you given any more thought about adopting me by chance?

Lol DB! Maybe I can arrange to leave my "precious" (aka Charlton comics) to an adopted son? Wink

Long live Tolkien!

Hey I just moved to the Tampa area, can you recommend a good flea a market area for comic bargain hunting?

Ha, I wish! My experience has been most sell beat up comics at NM prices. I have found a few Bronze to Modern books at bargain prices, nothing else. You'd get better deals at a comic store. Unless you get really lucky.

Good luck, Spa-fon! That would be an accomplishment, indeed.
