- There have now been at least 2 overt comic book references on LOST, but we still haven't started a forum topic about it. Are there any LOST fans on CBR?

- Sweet! I missed most of this season while playing dodgeball, but I finally broke down and got the season pass on iTunes last weekend and got caught up. I think I got more out of this week's episode than I've gotten out of a single episode so far. It was full of great little moments from beginning to end.

I swear I have seen him before and I thought it was a "friend" of Sayid from his Iraqi days.
But I think I am just remembering him from a movie, maybe Three Kings?
I guess a better question will be what happens to all of the other "non-island" flyers? - I thought he looked like Sayid's commanding officer from his Republican Guard days too, but I'm assuming someone would have reacted differently if that was him.
My big theory on who beat up Ben: Desmond. I think Ben was on the docks to get Penny before he flew out of town. I think he & Desmond tussled, and that's why Desmond is coming back to the island. I really liked Penny, but I don't think she's one of the living anymore.
As far as where the other flyers went, I just think of what Farraday's mom said about what happens if Flight 815 isn't recreated well enough. The results would be "unpredictable"!
Also, do you think the person escorting Sayid is supposed to "be somebody"? That's what the wife and I thought at first, too. But we looked it up on IMDB.com and the actor isn't the same, plus the character is called Ceaser. I figure it's a bit late in the show to introduce new characters out of the blue like that, but they did show him more prominantly then they ought to if he was just going to die in the crash. Then we noticed that he was gonna be in next week's episode, too, so maybe he is from Sayids past, we just haven't been introduced to him yet.
