- Its not a movie that can be remade, im surprised they even made it from the original manga
which i have not read *sigh* but im stuck between I'm A Cyborg But That's Okay and The Day The Earth Stood Still (original one, obviously) for tonight, but i also recommended Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, as thats the only other movie ive seen

- i have no idea what you guys are talking about but maybe ill have to look into it. as for hollywood they are getting lazy with the remakes and comic book movies. few are making up new stories.

Americans usually downplay the gore and scare factor of those movies. agreed Ringu is one of my all time favorite movies, cant stand The Ring. Same with Oldboy and a few others Hollywood lost its creativity long ago, its all about how effects now independant cinema is where its at
