- i'll see what i can find.
although it's gonna be tricky since my #2 and #3 aren't single movies. they're a trilogy and a part 1 & 2 combo.

- that is sad, i cannot imagine having to watch at least 6 hours of movie just to love it that much, good think you work with movies, or I would assume you would never be able to watch the whole thing...don't get me wrong, i love long movies...assuming they need to be long (no movie made in the eighties was good because they all were longer than they needed to be.....and the star wars trilogy are all 70's movies because the second two follow the spirit of the first one which was a 70's movie)....don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Indiana Jones, but even they should have been cut a bit shorter

- yes, the initial p;ost does call for 3 (and only 3) movies.
however, my problem is, w/ the trilogy at #2, all 3 parts together make it great (to me anyway). and the same w/ the parts 1 & 2 in my #3 spot, both together make it worth watching. to just eliminate both and bump my #'s 4 and 5 up wouldn't be fair to the actual #'s 2 and 3.

- i can enjoy the 3 parts of the trilogy individually.
but they make my favorite movies list as a group.
i agree, there is nothing wrong w/ a long movie if it needs to be that long. however, i have seen plenty that DO NOT need that extra 10, 15 or 20 minutes.
, there are plenty that i could very easily shorten at he theater. i have the "know how" and the meens to do so. unfortunately, i do not have the authority. the movie companies don't tend to appreciate someone "editing" their films after release.
