- I read the Doug Moench Moon Knight from the 80s. The clip I posted just feels so vastly different from the 80s Moon Knight that I read, but I’ll be fair and say that I’ve not watched the entire first episode. That one little clip though left a lot to be desired for me to be honest. Felt silly.

- I haven't seen this new TV show (yet). I certainly don't expect it to be anything like the godly original '80s monthly series (Volume 1). Everything Marvel has created for their movies and TV shows in the last 15+ years have been very updated and created for the masses, not us avid comic book collectors and readers. I understand why they do that as they don't care about us, they care about making money.
I just want to be entertained. I don't expect all that much nostalgia with these new shows (too bad).

- Watched episode 6 yesterday. Thank goodness there were only 6 episodes. IMO it totally sucked! I'm a traditionalist, loved the original 1980's (Vol.1) story line and character. This was so boring and totally different, a miss in my book, but again, that's just my view. The younger crowd my love it.

- I didn't hate it but it wasn't great. I did enjoy the mid credits scene in the last ep, though.

- Didn't know much about moon knight, read a few comics as a kid but never really paid much attention. I like a lot of the series, but the giant gods battle was lame and disjointed. Still would like to see more of what Moon Knight can actually do as well. Oscar Isaacs was magnificent though.

- I have to admit I'm not very happy with the Moon Knight TV show. I haven't even seen it yet, but I've only read bad reviews so far. I knew before it even aired that Mental Health has been such a "hot topic" recently due to the pandemic that there would be way too much on that particular topic in this brand new show. Such a shame that my very favourite hero of all time didn't receive his dues with a killer show. Oscar Isaac is a good enough actor, so I know it wasn;t his fault the show was a dud.
It's tough to look forward to watching this show when the most positive thing I read on CBR was junobeach praising the mid credit scene in the last episode?

- Yeah the mid-credit scene didn't do much for me. I know what it kinda hints at but still, wasn't not that enticing. I will watch it because I want to give it time to grow, there are good elements in there for sure, they just have to recognize it and let it grow from there. Complex stories can take time to develop an identity.
