  • I'm sure you guys have already seen the trailers. I'm more excited about this movie than I have been with most of the Marvel live action films this year, and thing is it's animated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg52up16eq0

And best thing about this is it's got... Spider-Ham!

  • Hell yeah! Hadn't seen the trailer until just now, so thank you! That looks pretty freaking cool. The animation is out of this world. Absolutely going to see this one. Love the little clippette where Peter pushes Miles out "time to learn how to swing".

  • The sneak preview they gave this film at the end of the Venom credits was my favorite part of the entire Venom film. I walked out of the theatre with the biggest smile on my face.
The fact I will now be able to actually sell my Spider-Ham comic for a few bucks doesn't hurt either.

Yes I have been noticing that Spider-Ham's first appearance and early issues have gone up significantly. I remember it wasn't even a year or two ago you could pick those up for just a few dollars. I get the feeling that since a lot of movie goers aren't always reading comics they probably have never heard of or seen the character. If this movie does well, Spider-Ham might just become the next Rocket Raccoon.

  • And John Mulaney is voicing him! I could not be happier with that casting!

  • I bought the Peter Porker comic when it came out. I always thought it would stay worthless. What's next? Obnoxio the Clown?

  • May want to stock up on the Hembeck Fantastic Four Roast too lol.

Scored this yesterday for $.34! It has that red smudge on the front, so I doubt it's worth $40.00, but it's in otherwise great shape.

Sweet score nonetheless! I have to agree with Big Boss, as this book was virtually worthless up until more recently. I have seen a few auctions fetch some high prices. It just goes to show, that you never know what kind of book/character is going to take off...not to mention anything related to any kind of movie/tv series in production, or even talked about potentially happening.

  • Just saw the movie last night. I absolutely loved it! Best Spiderman movie I have seen in a long while, (but I haven't really enjoyed a Spidey film since Spider-Man 2).

The animation was pretty amazing. I hope the team that did this movie will put out sequels and maybe even animate other superhero stories. Pacing in animation feels a lot more like the stories we read in comic books. This film even had thought caption bubbles in it! Something that live action movies don't capture. Stick around to the end as there is an end-credits scene.

Also I have noticed that prices for a lot of these characters first appearances (Miles, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Ham, etc.) have been rising. Now may be a good time to start adding those to your collection if you haven't already, as I expect them to only continue to rise, especially with how well this movie has been received.

  • Loved it. So many Easter eggs. Funny thing was I was told not to bother watching the after credit scene because "it had nothing to do with the movie and wasn't good". This came from the manager of the theater. He couldn't have been more wrong.
