  • Has anyone seen The Predator yet? If so, give us a few non-spoiler words of review, please. Thanks! Applause

  • From the commercials I have seen, I will not be going to see the new Comedy Predator. Why in the hell can't they make good Predator/Aliens/Robocop/Terminator movies anymore?

  • I didn't mind the last Robocop with Michael Keaton. I probably won't see the new Predator.

  • I haven't caught any previews for this yet, but if it is anything like any other 80's remake (Karate Kid, Ghost Busters...) you can count me out on seeing it.
People want to know. How can I live like this? The risks? The times I've descended into madness? The times I've died? How can I live like this? How could I live any other way?

I think I'm 100% with you on this one. I was HOPING that the commercials were being a bit misleading, but reviews are pretty unanimous on this being a misguided comedy version of Predator. A damn shame. Sad

  • I plan on going to see it probably this weekend. I thought the trailer looked pretty good as far as the action goes and thought the Predator looked great. I tend to be a little more forgiving than others when it comes to movies. Yes, it could be garbage and won't live up to the original but I'm sure it will be entertaining if anything and will keep me occupied for a few hours on a Friday night. I've definitely spent $10 on worse stuff before.

  • We'll probably catch it on a DVD or something.

  • I see the wal-mart $5 bin in this movies future. At which point I'll probably pick it up then.
After the Adrian Brodie "Predators" I was kinda put off. Don't get me wrong I liked the movie for it's entertainment value but I just kept thinking this seems so far away from the basic "Predator" premise that it was distracting. I did like that Danny Trejo was in it but then......(SPOILER)

Yeah. I'll probably do the same. I'm not paying to see it in the theater (which is a goddamn shame its come to that) but since I'm a superfan of all things alien/predator I'll eventually end up watching it somehow.

For the love of God. . .PLEASE tell me the avalanche of bad reviews are wrong and it's not a misguided attempt at sci-fi horror comedy. I just want to see ONE good review of this movie. . .

  • I only needed about five seconds of the trailer for the new Predator to know it would be horrible. Comedy Predator, eh? Who in the fuck came up with that inane idea?

  • They screwed up superhero movies for a few decades by trying to make them campy and humorous. That's why I was annoyed with Guardians of the Galaxy & Thor Ragnarok. If you make Hollywood think they can turn a serious movie into a comedy, they will.

  • I heard it was pretty awful...I'm bummed.

  • I saw it opening weekend and can confirm that it's not worth seeing. It's an unnecessary sequel that suffers from bad writing, cringeworthy dialogue, poor editing and multiple plot holes.

There are a few likable characters but sadly, none of them could save this film.
