- On the CBR home page, there's a block called "2008 Auction Points". What are Auction Points, many people ask?
When you contribute information (or money, money's a nice contribution!), you earn points to build up Free Days, use the pile export feature, and participate in the annual auction. Since 2006, Dough Boy has been collecting valuable books, toys and other must-haves for members to fight, er, compete over in an auction held in early September.
At the end of the auction, high bidder wins, as you'd expect, and they lose those points for the next year's auction. All members get to keep unused points for the following year's auction. How great is that?"1500 years ago, everybody knew the Earth was the center of the Universe. 500 years ago, everybody knew that the Earth was flat... and 15 minutes ago, you knew people were alone on this planet. Think about what you'll know tomorrow." - Agent K, Men in BlackFind answers to CBR FAQs on my profile!

- Nope. Free Days and auction points are separate awards for doing the same work! Kind of like getting vacation pay and wage if you work for a union.
