What Are Auction Points and How Do I Earn Them?
Auction Points are points that you accumulate by contributing to this site. Here are a variety of ways that you can earn points:

10 points for submitting an approved cover
2 points for posting in the forum
2 points for each information submitted for a comic (date, cover price, contributors, characters, etc.)
5 points for indexing characters and contributors
5 points for each of the new social sections (lists, blog, blog comments, picture uploads, etc.)
10 points for each LCS cataloged in the lcs section
250 points for each verified referral
10000 points for donating $10 to ComicBookRealm

These points are used for several things:

1) As you earn auction points you will also notice, in your profile under User Info, that you are also earning free days. These free days are in case ComicBookRealm ever becomes a pay-to-use site.


2) Auction points are also used in the auction itself. This auction is run by ComicBookRealm and all the prizes are personally donated. Auction points account for half of the winning bid.

3) Auction points also unlock the Export Feature which will allow you to export your collection into several different file forms that you can take with you anywhere you want.

How Do I Upload Images?
1) Go to "my realm" and click on the tab "Pics"


2) Click "Upload Pics"


3) Click "Add More Files"


4) Click "Upload (all) Files"


5) Click "Process Uploaded Image(s)"


6) Add In necessary nnformation and then click "Process"

How Do I Post Images in the Forum?
In order to post an image in the forum you are going to need an image url. You cannot post an image directly from your computer files because there is no image url. In order to obtain a url for an image, you can follow these steps:

1) Upload image to ComicBookRealm by following steps above
2) Find the image in your gallery and click "linking" under the image
3) IMG Code is the third option and all you need to do is copy and paste that whole box into your forum post. Make sure to always preview your forum post to make sure that the image is showing up

How Do I Share My Collection
On ComicBookRealm, you are given the option on whether or not you want to share all, some, or none of your comic piles.

When you are in "my realm", click "Profile" to bring up all your personal settings. Here you can change your avatar, signature, personal/contact information. There is also a section called "setting" and it is under here that you are given the option on whether or not to share your collection. Sharing your collection allows other ComicBookRealm members the ability to see what you own.

If you only want them to see part of your collection then go back to "my realm". When you are in "my realm" you will see all of your comic book piles located on the right hand side. At the top of that list (and below "PM"), click "manage". Each comic pile will indicate whether or not it is sharing with either a "Y" or an "N". All piles will also have an "edit" button (master pile will not have this button). It is from here that you can change whether or not a pile is shared.

How Do I Become a Lifetime Member?
Being a Lifetime Member has a few perks

1) Although you still accumulate free days, you are exempt from having to pay for ComicBookRealm if it ever became a pay-to-use site. You are now a member for life. It is a big thank you from ComicBookRealm for donating and helping to keep it running. In order to become a lifetime member, you need to make a donation of at least $40. You can donate this is one big chunk or a little bit at a time.

2) When you make a donation of $40 you also get 40000 auction points

3) The $40/40000 auction points also automatically unlocks the export feature which only requires 7500 auction points
