  • I'm reading the Legend of Drizzt book 5. Only about 50 pages in so far, and going good. I really enjoyed the first 3 very much, but the 4th book started off kind of dry.

just started the George R.R. Martin books starting with "A Game of Thorns". many have called his works some of the best fantasy that has ever been written and claiming him to be the next Tolkien. so far so good...

I'm midway through The Song Of Ice and Fire (Game Of Thrones) book 3 -A Storm Of Swords.

    Great read so far.

Standing now before her eyes, wings expanding. She's going to die,
Belching blue-green fire- Flesh meets the desire,
    The Serpent 's apocalyptic smile.

Of us both, and our Father!
    A failure of creation, abomination!"

  • Well, with all the hype about The Hunger Games, I wanted to read the book before I saw the movie, so I picked it up and read it, then took my wife to the movie. Glad I did, there is always a lot of information not covered in the movie.

Now I need to get the next chapter and read it in advance.
The joy is in the journey, not just the destination.
