- It's been ages since I've been on here. But I'm slowly getting back into comics and would like to come back to the forums if you'll have me.
I think the last time I posted here was back in 2008?
Had quite a few things in life that fell apart and kept me away from many of my hobbies...but I'm trying to get back into it, and rebuild what I lost.

- Welcome back Kree_Boy. I'll recap you what you missed out in the comic book world in the last ten years:
DC has relaunched all their books twice (2011 and 2016). Harley Quinn is about as popular as Batman now.
Marvel even more times. There are probably 400 books with Wolverine in the title.
Dark Horse lost their license to ALL the Star Wars books and Marvel scooped those up before the huge movie relaunches.
Variant covers are taking over!!! There are some new books that have literally hundreds of those suckers. Stay away at all costs.
Image Comics doesn't sell superhero books much anymore. They are specializing in other stories nowadays and doing quite well.
My Little Pony has about five or six monthly books now. I have no idea who's collecting those books.
I'm sure I'm missing a few more things, sorry. Hopefully life will now allow you to continue on with your favourite hobby.

I'm with you about newer books. Nowhere near as fun as the older stuff, not to mention the prices are getting too much for my cheap .
I have thousands of back issues for sale if you feel the need to fill in some gaps in your collection. Ask around.

- LOL...that's cool brucifer. I appreciate the effort.
I try to collect everything up to around 2011-ish if it catches my eye. A few recent books like the Dark Night Metal event caught it enough to buy, and maybe the new Venom book, but other than that I haven't liked much of the the newer stuff I've picked up, so I reserved myself to older books.
