  • Just thought it would be cool to have a topic to talk about video games. I'm sure lots of you play them. Just wondering your thoughts and what you've been playing.
I just bought Skyrim Legendary edition a few days ago and was playing that and love it. I never played it before and know many people are obsessed with it.
Today I picked up The Last of us and can't wait to play it.
Also lately I've been playing Injustice Gods Among Us and have loved that.
The next game I'm really looking forward to is Diablo 3 for PS3 in August.
Also I can;t wait for the Deadpool game coming out in a couple weeks.
I know I'll want to get it, but it seems like it could easily be bad and have bad reviews. It also seems like the type of game that will drop $20 cheaper in like 2 months, so unless it has amazing reviews I'll wait awhile to get it since I have other games I recently bought. I saw gamestop has if you reserve it you get his X-force costume with it.
Also recently I got Alice Madness Returns and the Devil May Cry collection and soon I plan on getting the Metal Gear Solid collection.
Most games I buy and never play or touch for years, I have the last Metal Gear collection i bought a long time ago and never played it and will trade it in for the new one.
What's everyone else playing or liking?

  • I wish I had more time to play games. Although I did just place an amazon order for Arkham City and Uncharted 3, both GOTY editions. I figure Ill have some time over July 4 weekend.

Im also a pretty big fan of Terraria, that and Dragons Dogma are the games Im playin now, but like I said I dont have much time to play. I get a couple of hours of free time each night when i get home from work, and I tend to read comics during that time. I have a big pull list, so it takes some time to keep up with them. I actually made the decision last year to transition my free time activity from games to comics. Comics are more fun to have, and take less time in the long run. I have to be obsessed with somethin, its just the way I am, so i decided to move the obsesion to comics.

  • That's how I am, sometimes I could play a game an hour a week, but I buy games like I play all the time. I liked Dragon's Dogma it was a game I bought when it came out and I got a platinum on it.

  • I am a big fan of MMORPG games. Originally Dungeon Master on the Amiga PC, then converted to IBM PC, just a RPG. Then was on beta test for Asherons Call, one of the best early MMORPGs. Stayed with that for 5+ years. Then was introduced to World of Warcarft about 6 years ago and still playing it.
The joy is in the journey, not just the destination.

  • I applied for the beta for Final Fantasy 14, I do want to get that when it comes out in 2 months, but if it's a monthly pay service I might pass. I use to play everquest a little and Final Fantasy 11 a bit but when I play online games like that I never play any of my other games for months plus I hate paying a monthly subscription. I did really want to try to Knights of the Old Republic online though.

  • Actually, im surprised we havent brought this up yet, but has anyone tried the Marvel MMO yet?

I tried to download it, but it wouldnt work on my 4 year old computer that I got for lawschool.... so what did i do...

I went out and bought a new computer today, and am as we speak in the process of downloading the Marvel game onto the new one. (I needed a new one anyway, this just gave me that extra little kick in the i needed to get it done).

  • I like the idea, but I'm more a console gamer and never play computer games. Its weird for me playing a game where i don't hold a controller

  • I just bought Final Fantasy 13 yesterday. I haven't tried it yet but I'll probably play a little tonight.

That's the 1st game I have bought in a long time.

I used to play World of Warcraft but I grew tired of it. I cancelled my account about 6 months ago.

I just don't game as much as I used to. I have so many other hobbies that I just use my time doing those instead.

I played for a little bit tonight. So far I'm not really impressed. Not having random encounters is pretty lame. It reminds me of Final Fantasy: Mystical Quest. No experience also stinks. I love grinding levels and not being able to really bugs me. Does each character only get 1 weapon and 1 accessory? If that is all the equipment you get that is pretty lame too.
