  • The waiting is driving me nuts. We own a condo now which we are keeping and renting out. New home is twice the size of what we got now and my comics won't have to sit in a closet

  • Yes it does, but it's worth it in the end. Cool that your books are coming out of the closet. Mine are still in there.

  • I'm continuously having fights with the girlfriend about where the comics can go, and I only have half my collection with us.

    Goodluck with the offer.

  • I don't know how old you are but owning a home can be a real pain in the A, you might have more room for your comics , but you may not have thr time to enjoy them. STAY IN YOUR CONDO

  • @claudioma Nearing 40 sadly. I have a 2 year old and we are looking at having another child, so we need the bigger space. Thankfully it has a small back yard that is all paving stones so no lawn mowing.

@tangledwebs my comics are coming out of the closet, especially the ones with Alan Scott in them...... sorry.

@tex. I own 35,000 comics. I have some in my current home, some in my childhood home, and some in my brothers huge victorian house. Will be uniting the whole collection for the first time. Ahhh a comic room for me.

  • All the luck to you. Where are you buying your home?

  • Your miles ahead of me in terms of comics. I only have a few thousand, spread across the two homes. Im hoping to unite them sometime this year. Must be an awesome sight though to have them neatly stacked and ordered, or even haphazardly stacked and non ordered. Truly a sight to behold

If only i could convince my girlfriend to also find them beautiful. She has intimated that she might be more forgiving were I not storing them in coors light 12 pack boxes... but they fit so perfectly in them. Its almost like the guy who designed coors light 12 pack boxes designed them specifically to double as comic book boxes. They fit in manageable 50ish issue chunks. Ahhhhh, so pretty
