- Are comic books a thing of the past? People have owned comics since way back, we all know that. Popular these days is a comics worth, it really hits on the comuter a bit that these comics can be sold for a few bucks we know that too. Most comic books have high value that have high value, we know that too...so what is a current issue?
To clarify, comic book stories have a history: a long one if that. Lots of real characters, some false, some with even that Canon. I'd really like to get to know someone who reads comics for their current day story line, not what kind of shoes the hero/villan got and why. It's really a sad days for comics to be quite honest, people think they know way too much and they really do. WAY too MUCH. However, there really is a story happening, and that's what's really great about comics. They're a bit like the movies. hehe. lol

- i know a bunch of people that read just old books. I know people that read the old stuff but also wait for the tpbs of the current stuff. Personally, i read all the current stuff and if some character interests me or they refer to some event in the past then i will go back and read that stuff.

- From what I can tell, old comics tend to be popular, goes without showing. A cool marketscene would be something like a specific valuable current day comic, or just a particular new issue. That old stuff you mentioned seems to be interesting from what I can read, at least that's what people call Comic Book Collecting. My new collection only consists of 4 comics. No offense, but I'm not sure if I would be into any current day history on these issues. I got a few ideas on where to go with these books in terms of either reading into them or passing them on with new copies along side them that would overlap them in to a different state.
