  • I did search the forums but couldn't find anything.

Just curious as to whether anyone is interested in video gaming in general and on what sorta system.
Personally I'm a PC gamer, although my rig is in desperate need of a complete overhaul so I've been restricted to PS3 and Wii.

What's are you (if anyone) interested in?

  • I am into MMORPG games. Currently on World of Warcraft for 5 years, before that Asheron's Call for 5 years. Hmmm, I don't jump around a lot. Oh, and I tried Lord of the Rings but was not impressed after WoW.

Mt latest obsession is Fate - The Cursed King. It's a first person dungeon type RPG. Played a couple times free and got hooked and bought a copy. That's the majority of my game time now.

I was hooked to the genre when I bought an Amiga 2000 back in 1989, along with Dungeon Master. Great system and game, but years ahead of it's time. Even before that was a couple RPG games moved to PC from Apple.

And even back in 70's had the Atari console and RPG type games.

My son is a beta tester for Star Wars the Old Republic and an even hooked much deeper than I on RPGs.

  • I love old school games as well. I play plenty of NES, SNES, N64, Mega Drive (Genesis) and Atari. I try to harass my mate as much as possible to play Commodore 64 too Laughing

I'm an RPG fan too; not typically an MMO fan but I'm waiting for SW: Old Republic - I wanna play a Bounty Hunter!
Can't wait for Skyrim too, hopefully a healthy mod scene develops itself as it has with other ES titles.

I heard Forza is the most amazing racing Sim this far (at least according to a few reviews I read), though at the moment I'm satisfying myself with F1 2011. I've been enjoying FIFA 12 for the last few days (though I can imagine it doesn't compete with Madden in America)

Problem is if I rebuild my PC I'll have all money for comics. Choices, choices!

Haha, I'm the same - I realised MMOs were bad for my addictive personality Laughing

the series definitely comprises of some of the mose realistic racing games i have ever played. the series is outstanding and the visuals are always breathtaking...forza motorsport 2 was my favorite

My son was hardcore WoW - raiding two or three nights a week. Most raids were too long for me, talking about 2-4 hours or more. I was pretty much casual most of my time. I have several 85s on two different servers. On Kul Tiras as Horde DK, where my son played, but don't go there anymore. Now I have an 85 Mage and Warlock, and slowly building up a DK with an old school friend in VA that is going through breast cancer and needed a distraction. After 9 months of infrequest playing, our DKs are now L83.

  • I have never really played WOW, tried D&D online and such but it always seems to be a substitute for Paper D&D. Finishing up Gears 3 now and rented Dark Souls for the week while the wife is out of town. That's right I like to be beaten hard and often. Smile
