Spa-fon Wise Beyond the Years lifetime member Location: Tampa Bay Florida Posts: 3780 My Collection	Posted: August 24, 2011 6:00:31 pm Checking in briefly on my IPhone4 while waiting on Whidbey Island ferry. We have been all over Seattle and WA state. Supposed to have caught a military hop to Jacksonville, FL 2 days ago but as luck would have it, flight was cancelled. Next flight is September 5th. So we been taking in the sights. Beaches ho hum. Mountains and forests spectacular. Mt St Helens absolutely astonishing! Last night stayed in Forks, WA, the base for the Twilight books. Stayed in a "Twilight Special", all red and black with posters of the movie characters all over. Somehow feeling drained this morning. Looking forward to my own bed and flat lands of Florida. Feels like a 2 week roller coaster ride. The joy is in the journey, not just the destination.

And yes we weighed the costs of staying with costs of buying a flight, so decided to go home. Besides, getting homesick and missing family. At airport now, a real madhouse with all the cancelled flights on East coast. Had a 7:00 AM flight but missed it due to crowds, but on 9:00 AM flight and can still make connection in Dallas and get home about 8:00 PM. Passed by a comic shop yesterday on Market St near Locks, but no time to run in. No room for any purchases anyway. With shirts, hats, etc for family my bag four pounds over so had to ditch shampoo, body wash and mouthwash to reduce. Home tonight!!! The joy is in the journey, not just the destination.
