He signed a few of my Deathstroke books and drew a Checkmate knight on a card for me on the spot. There was a line at his table, but I did not feel rushed. He took his time and thoughtfully answered my questions. I'm a chess player (which is what got me into Checkmate) and we had a great discussion on the game of chess in addition to comics. He's a talented artist and a kind man. It was a great experience meeting him. Did I err?
