RIP Alan Grant, the influential comics writer famed for his work on Batman, Judge Dredd and Lobo, has passed away. Alan Grant, the influential writer famed for his lengthy runs on Batman, Detective Comics and Judge Dredd, has passed away at age 73. His death was announced July 21 on Facebook by his wife, Susan, and then quickly spread on social media. I always enjoyed Alan Grant's work. Don't think I have ever read a bad comic that he was involved in. We strike hard and fade away into the night
