  • That Wonder Woman 1984 cover is not very good. DC comic books keeps on digging their own grave. Most of the "fan" covers people submitted were better than the original. Not that DC gives a flying f**k about their fans!!!

  • I'm not a huge fan of it, either. If the artist would have made it clear this was an alien homage to WW, somehow (like how they often show alien world kids that superheroes have saved making mock costumes) I think that would have gone over better. As it is, it's just a piece of art that has to be explained, which keeps art museum tour guides in business, but really, it should stand on its own.

  • I remember a time when artists had to adhere to a model set for the character by the publisher.
    Now it seems if you own a box of crayons you can be an artist.
