I think I read my kids every book on the Bernstein Bears ever written. I think "The Spooky Old Tree" was one of the favorites, as I recall. And fond memories all around since I was never one to read monotone, but I always used emphasis and different character voices. Made the tales much more interesting. The joy is in the journey, not just the destination.
