jeezus...almost done recording EVERY title i have ;o #goodtobeback
(away....far FAR 'AWAY' from the 'NEW 52', new AGE & ALL OTHER comics out there, peoplebut....what was said before hasn't changed.....except for the PRICE per BOOK)
Anyway, I’m DUMPING all of my comics.....I can't afford to care for them anymore.
And now that DISNEY has bought MARVEL comics...well, lets just say, I took it as an omen to get this four-color monkey off my back.
Its my personal collection, acquired over 30+ years of comic hunting in quick marts, bus stations, newsstands, comic shops, conventions, and, of course, on e-bay
First, ive got over 8,000 books (in 24 long-boxes) of various titles and companies (MAINLY from the 'big two' - DC & Marvel), with MOST (90%) graded at 9.2 (or higher), bagged (MYLYTES) and boarded, with (a few) signatures, from the most popular artists and writers in comics of yesterday and today ......
all for 2.25 a book (DOWN from 2.75)
That's right .... for LESS than a comic cost TODAY (2.99 or MORE), you can give the holiday gift of vintage collectible comic magazines - no huss, no fuss, no long lines at conventions, no ebay haggling.
I'VE done all the legwork - so, you don't have to.
Now, of course, for every BATMAN #244 (signed N. ADAMS / ra's al ghul) or UNCANNY X-MEN #137 (signed BYRNE/CLARMOUNT / death of phoenix), you're also going to get an ANGEL LOVE Special #1 or HULK 2099 #1 (not a LOT of 'minor' titles, but a wide selection).
AND now ... the CATCH (always a 'catch, folks)
I want to try and keep this offer in the form of an 'INSTANT' COLLECTION - I CANNOT sell a TITLE RUN or INDIVIDUAL ISSUES of the items in question and keep the PRICE at 2.25 a book.
wouldnt be opposed to breaking up what I have to offer into TWO
SEPARATE COLLECTIONS for sale - one, consisting of the DC TITLES and
the other, the remaining MARVEL/INDEPENDENT TITLES.
(and, TRUST ME, I've already heard it all..."you're NUTS..." "..no FREAKIN' way..." "..i'll give you .25 on the DOLLAR..." - I figured - all the legwork, searching, preservation, and signatures i've gotten over the years 'adds up' to a 'measly' 3 bucks a comic, eh??).
So....if anyone is (still) interested, feel free to request an EXCEL LIST of the items in question...(firstname.lastname@example.org)
(NOTE: I've also recorded what I have on the compititions website COMICSPRICEGUIDE.COM (http://www.comicspriceguide.com/world/default.aspx?m=SCRODBUNDY) - looks like EVERY title is 'still there' , somehow)
