"“I don't wear white to hide myself. I wear it so they'll see me coming. So they'll know who it ..."

Collector for the sheer passion, as comics have had such an impact on my life. 3rd time around doing so and by far the greatest experience of them all. Lover of Silver Age, but have come around to bronze and dabble in the rest.

(attempting to type in internal monologue)

(is that even a thing???)

Thursday night 10pm, check bank account.  SWEEEEEET!  Monthly bonus hit and it is fat!  Hmmmm...where do I go from here?

1.  Romita/Romita Jr. Lithograph cel $10.  Spider-man/Green goblin seat belt buckle, belt $10.  Worry about the frame later.  No wall space left, .  Ok, maybe I can take a mirror down?  I know what the heck I look like anyway.  ...deal with that later.

Friday afternoon, I need another box pronto.  I can get a better bulk rate deal online, but am having some serious overflow issues at the moment.  Besides, I can get one right away if I pop in the local comic shop.  I can always just look...I don't have to purchase anything else while I am there.

2.  Breaking away from having all blue short boxes, I get the Spider-man themed box.  LOOK AWAY, LOOK AWAY!  Dang it, too late.  Daredevil Annual 1, and Weapon H #7 with the cosmic ghost rider cover looked kind of lonely.  Ok, checking out now.  What?  The variant box at the counter is half price today?  Ok...dang it again, Moon Knight 195 needs a new home.

Later at home, REALLLLLY looking hard at an affordible mid-grade Werewolf by night #32, but get a call and help someone out with needed pricey medications.  It wasn't in the cards this time, but one day it will be.

No worries, still have some spending funds left over.  Broker a deal on high grade copies of Daredevil 121-123, Amazing Spider-man 317-319, and 2 copies of Daredevil 183.

Today...get a message from the seller from that previous sale that he has a Moon Knight run I was interested in.  Looking at another Spider-man lot to tack on, to make good use of the shipping fees.  Hmmm, return message from CBR member on an indexed issue I wanted to see a cover for.  Nice!  He sent me a link to their online shop.

SHUT the FRONT door!  My sorry never thought to see if IGC had an online shop.  Been eyeballing that Moon Knight 194 variant for months.  They took it off of ebay even though there was plenty of copies available.  Had no idea they had it in an online shop.  I peeked on ebay the other day and only one person selling it, and $65?  No way to that.  $40 at the igc store.

Ok, let me check their site out now...oh MAN, that Wolverine return issue looks SICK!  Let me peek that out on ebay.  (gets lost in the numerous covers for a good 30 minutes)

SIGH...ok last purchase. I swear!  Moon knight it is.  Holding off on the wolverine.  Send message to last night's seller that I am interested, but gonna have to wait it out.

...and one last bid to wait on/watch until Wednesday.
