Bill is a regular townsman in Oklahoma, where Thor has brought Asgard back. He saw the beautiful Asgardian, Kelda, and immediately fell in love with her. As Doctor Doom and Loki planned, most of the Asgardians have moved to Latveria, which is ruled by Doom. Bill shows that he truly loves Kelda and follows her into the portal which transported the Asgardians to Latveria. Bill also meets the other Asgardians and is promised protection by Balder, who rules Asgard now that Thor has been banished.

Bill and Kelda talk in bed about him being inferior to the Asgardians as he is just a human. He says that he needs to go and talk to Balder because he thinks that his idea to have Asgard in Latveria isn't a good idea. So, Kelda tells him to go and she gives him her sword. As Bill climbs the side of the mountain to where Balder is, he hears a scream coming from a room. He looks at what is happening in the room and he overhears the plan of Loki and Doom. Loki used and Asgardian as a gift and as a sacrifice for Doom so that he could try to use his organs to make himself immortal just like the Asgardians. Loki then spots a snooping Bill and he sends rogue Asgardians after him. Bill tries to fight them off, but he is stabbed in the gut by one of the superior Asgardian warriors. Balder then comes in his horse but is too late to stop what already happened.
