Agamemnon is immortal. Vali has the power to project a holograph of himself as an old, bearded man so that no one suspects that he truly looks like a teenager. He is also a genius and a master at analyzing and predicting the future development of social structures as well as a master strategist and an excellent hand-to-hand combatant.

Vali claimed to be the son of a mortal woman and an Asgardian God. The truth is that for the knowledge of gaining immortality, he exchanged his pick of his future offspring to the Troyjan race. When he was questioned to be the same Agamemnon that raised a massive Greek army against Troy, he never denied or admitted to the title but he claims that he had many other names and is the father of hundreds. In a more recent timeline to the modern day, he was an important factor in creating an instrumental think-tank dedicated to improving the human condition by ending war, famine, and disease, called the Pantheon. He has offered membership to his family to explicit super-humans who have special abilities such as immortality. He has never been met personally by any of the members of the Pantheon, but rather uses a projection of his image within the base of the Pantheon to protect his well-being. When he decided that it was time to venture out into the world to get back in touch with the people, he placed Hulk in charge.

At one point, Atalanta was kidnapped by the Troyjans and it was revealed that he betrayed the Pantheon. He was placed on trial and tried to kill every member with an undead army of fallen Pantheon warriors, but failed and his rocket was shot down during the escape by Atalanta. After his death Paris took over the Pantheon.
