Colleen Wing is a samurai and one half of the detective/bail-bond firm Daughters of the Dragon. She once dated Cyclops of the X-Men. She and Misty Knight co-own 'Heroes for Hire'.
Colleen was born to Professor Lee Wing and an unknown Japanese woman, making her half-Japanese. Her mother died when she was young and since her father was obsessed about his work, Colleen would be raised by her mother's family. Her grandfather, Kanji Ozawa, raised her in the mountains of Hoshu in Japan. Their family line was full of Samurais and Daimyos, Ozawa taught Colleen the art of the Samurai.
After she finished her training, Colleen returned to New York to visit her father. However, when she arrived she was caught in the middle of a gun fight. Colleen would be rescued by Misty Knight soon after. The two of them would become best friends and continue to do jobs with each other. Eventually Misty would lose one of her arms in a devastating explosion and would go into a deep depression state. Colleen was able to convince Misty not to give up and the two of them would quickly return to their normal selves. Colleen and Misty would create their own Private Investigator's firm called Knightwing Restoration, LTD. Colleen later befriends Iron Fist when her father learned that Iron Fist was coming to kill the killer of his master. Iron Fist eventually decides not to and Colleen would help Iron Fist on his adventures. Colleen later dated Bob Diamond, one of the Sons of the Tiger. The couple would eventually break up.
