  • THE TOP 100 COMIC BOOK RUNS

goodcomics.comicbookresources.com — Top 100 runs (as voted on by about 700 Comics Should Be Good readers, who each ranked their ten favorite runs from an ongoing comic book series from #1-10, with each ranking given a different point total - #1=10 points, #2=9 points, etc., I then counted up all the points and presented them all as a countdown) as one master list, so, well, here ya go!

  • i have too many problems with how that list was created....the different points system works for most lists, but a list that has so many different options, 1-10 should be given equal points, especially with a "run" pertaining to every artist/writer team to work on the series, rather than for the whole series....which brings me to my second reason for disliking this list...although i do care who has worked on the books, i care more about which titles i should be looking into, and this list did not help one bit due to the many duplicates that were allowed on the list

    • CBR has many lists for favorite runs/authors/artists. Poke around a little bit and you'll find some great stuff. Most of your criticisms are repeated there.

  • Hate to sound like Abe Simpson here, but Stan and jack Fantastic Four or Stan and Steve on Amazing Spider-Man should'a been the number one and two spots on the list. Without what Stan and company did in the 60's - comics wouldn't be what they are now, true-believers!
