SABRETOOTH DEATH HUNT MINI-SERIES FROM 1993

WRITTEN BY LARRY HAMA

ART BY MARK TEXEIRA

EDITOR BOB HARRAS

So this Issue was written way back in 1993 back when Marvel Comics cared about there Mutant books; and there was a thing such as continuity with the editors.  This story takes place during the time when Wolverine and Sabretooth crossed paths around vol 1 issue 75 of the Wolverine comic.  Larry Hama does a great job introducing us to some of Sabretooths past as his memories are blocked and helps reveal more of the shrouded past of Victor Creed.

We are introduced to his assistant in the assassination buisness "Birdy" and quickly learn about the dynamic between the two of them and what she brings to the table for Victor. Which is quickly revealed that she has had enough of his and sells him out to a gentleman called Tribune.

The dialogue of the story is solid some classic ninety's action film lines.  " What is this and Infestation?!"  "We're ready to die."  Mark Texeira has some great art in here with the fight scenes and the classic ninety's big guns.

I give this book a four out of five stars
