So I decided to go back to my long boxes and read some oldies to refresh myself with classic marvel 616 universe. So I have gone back to 1993 with the Carnage-spiderman story . Maximum Carnage.
A fourteen part story that started in the pages of Spider-man Unlimited 1. This issue was drawn by ron lim story by tom defalco and takes place after the events of spectacular spiderman 200 where we see the funeral for Harry Osborne.
The story is good as it starts off by showing us a depowered Carnage in Ravencroft and what happens to allow him to escape. hin
Deflaco also sets up drama between MJ and Peter and causes Peter to hang up the spiderman suit for awhile and take a vacation.
Ron Lim's art is nice a tight, with clean lines well defined body types and is a fantastic art style for Spiderman.
Looking forward to read ing the rest of the storyline and all the characters that get sucked into the spiderman/venom/carnage battle.
