10 points for the first person to correctly identify the source quote(no search engines allowed - I have ways of testing how genuine your knowledge is).  Not auction points, just magic money, a bit like monopoly money but less tangible.

Over the weekend I had a comic reading session and read quite a few.  I even posted ratings on this fantastic site (10,000 auction points from dough boy for saying that.... please?).

So this week I'm going to talk more about Transformers comics.

I'm still loving All Hail Megatron - the new issues cemented it as my must read.  If you're a Transformers fan then it's probably the comic you've been waiting for (I've kept it relatively spoiler free):

The Decepticons have taken over Earth.  The Autobots are nowhere in sight because they're all stuck on Cybertron with no way to get to Earth to rescue us puny flesh creatures.  The Autobots are weakened because Optimus Prime is offline and there is a spy/traitor in their midst.

All this and I've only read the first 8 of the 12 issue story!

I also read Transformers Spotlight on Jazz over the weekend.  It was a pretty good story.  Set during All Hail Megatron, someone is telling a story about a heroic autobot (Jazz) to boost the spirits of the troops.  Because we all know that the Autobots get depressed any time Optimus Prime is out of action.

The other main comic from IDW at the moment is "Maximum Dinobots", but I haven't read any of them.  My local store didn't get any copies of #2.  I tried looking around online and none of my regular online comics shops seemed to have it either.  So Grrrrrrrrr on that one!

Tune in next time for whatever random thing I feel like talking about.  I can guarantee that it won't be about a Marvel Comic though!

    • Smeggie's guess was correct. However, since he cheated (through having prior knowledge of where the quote was going to be from), no fake money for him!

  • Strange Brew, oh yeah!

Don't know if that's right, since it's been forever since I've seen it, but it sounds right.

    • No. The "eh" is a red herring. It is not Canadian :-)
