Okay... this probally sounds stupid...but how many of you have problems with your Post Office opening packages sent Media Mail to you. I have argued and argued with my post office about this rule they have...and about opening my mail. They say any mail shipped media mail can be open for inspection and they say that any book that is NOT educational or has advertisment in them is not allow to be shipped media mail. They even showed me that rule in there books.

Is this happening to anyone else???????

  • This has never happened to me. I have been using media mail for comics since 2000. What were your consequences for using media mail for comics? I guess this is another reason people want to call comics %u201Cgraphic novels%u201D.

    • Hey Joel.... I don't use media mail to ship my comics... I have problems when I buy comics and the seller sends them media mail, my post office opens all media mail... and if comics are in the package they charge a postage due amount...which is usually $3 to $8 dollars more for postage. Its like one package I paid $5 for shipping... the seller sent it media mail for $3.75.... the post office leaves a note in my mailbox with it saying postage due...I go down to pick it up and had to pay another $3 for the postage due. They always show me the rule that is listed below...
