How does it look?


So I am sure a lot of you are thinking that I must be made of money...rest a surred I am not, it is just creative financing.

Last weekend Best Buy had a deal on Samsung TV's that I (not my wife) just couldn't pass up.

Basically you buy any Samsung "flat panel" TV and you get 3 years no interest.  To top it all off I was also able to get the TV price matched (I thought this would be very hard).

So I ended up saving $250 on top of the already included $150 savings, plus get the 3 years.  Also because I bought it at Best Buy and I put it on my Reward Zone card I will get those rewards as well.

Anyways I ordered the TV and had it delivered today.  I "forgot" to measure it and it is a little big for the living room (but don't tell the wife this).  I told her that we will put it down in the basement when that gets finished and she can have a smaller one for the living room.

I think it looks nice...thoughts?

  • i like having my 42" lcd hdtv as my tv and computer monitor....everything i have goes through that tv...video games, computer, cable....it makes it so much easier to deal with (had to get wireless mouse and keyboard to make it work)...but i can just lounge back in my couch and not worry about straining my eyes no matter what i am doing....(plus every couple years, i can argue my way into an upgrade because i have the service plan..do have to buy the service plan again each time though...went from 1080i to 1080p last time..next time maybe a size increase)
