ComicBookRealm.com: The Free Comic Book Price Guide & Community

I was able to get my hand's on a sold out Collector's Edition Sixth Scale "Action Figure" of Superman from Sideshow. I have never had the experience of "playing" with one, let alone seeing one. Even though I would love to keep it, I have decided to give it away to one lucky CBR member who has supported us.

Even though Superman is one of my favorite characters I have decided that I am going to write a review of this and give it away to someone who has supported ComicBookRealm.com. All you have to do to enter is read the review and follow the instructions.

I am personally more familiar with Sideshow's statues. They are incredible if you haven't added one to your collection yet. I was intrigued by what a figure is, but thought it was a just a lower quality statue...boy was I wrong! This isn't your childhood action figure!

Back in the day I remember having action figures that had moveable legs, arms and heads. Not a lot going on, but still fun none less. This however is amazing!

In the box there is:
  • Figure
  • Stand
  • 1 Extra Cape
  • 2 Extra Heads
  • 5 Extra Hands
Pretty much every joint articulates leaving you virtually unlimited poses. With all of the extra hands and head it gives you further possibilities. My one complaint is the stand. While it is nice, I haven't figured out how to make it appear that Superman is flying in his patented prone possition.

The craftmanship on this is incredible. The attention to detail to the face, hands and even the stitching on the suit is spot on. While $200 sounds like a lot of money, if you are a fan of a given character and Sideshow has a figure available you will not be disappointed in adding one to your collection.

Below I have a series of photos that walk through the unboxing.

How to win this!

If you have made it this far I am assuming you would like a chance to win this bad boy. I have decided that you can spend your points that you earn by donating or contributing to the website. Each entry is 10,000 points. You can see your points available on your "My Realm" page. To enter just send a PM to me and indicate how many chances you want. If you have say 40,000 points, you could get between 1-4 entries. Right now I will plan on picking up the shipping cost to the winner. If it is super expensive (because of another country) I might ask for shared shipping. Good luck!
