    on Mar 28, 2009 4:45:00 am - 387 views | 5 comments
I recently watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit and i wish life was really like that (sad i know). But wouldn't that be awsome to live in toon town? You could have a beer with Peter Griffin, Homer Simpson, and Hank Hill, or watch Speed Racer race for real. You could have a real pokemon as a pet, or see Dethklok play, the possibilities are endless. Not to mention the...

  4. Obama can keep the change - I want to keep my Comic Retailer open

    on Mar 25, 2009 6:35:00 pm - 333 views | 5 comments
I have lived in the southwest burbs of Chicago for nearly 20 years now, and seen four comic book shops go out of business. I like to live in the sticks so I can burn stuff and blow up things on the 4th of July so I don't mind the drive of 30 maybe 40 minutes to get my mitts on the latest rags I'm into. Today, I walk into my normal shop - they're closing next week....

  5. Punisher movie-war zone

    on Mar 22, 2009 10:35:00 pm - 429 views | 5 comments
Okay so today was a blockbuster kinda day and I actually rented The Punisher:War Zone Staring Ray Stevenson. I know, I know I asked myself why? Nobody has ever got Frank Castle down pat. Dolph Lungrin's punsiher was a sort of glam rock version, and Tom Jane was a bit too pretty. Ray Stevenson though was pretty much the best Frank I have ever seen on the big screen....

Earlier today I had posed the question, is it worth it to pick up this DP one shot? After being on this site today it inspired me to head out to my local comic shop and find out for myself. I found it on the shelves, I picked it up, read through it, and I have many things to say about it firstly being....BOOOOOOO!!!! I really did'nt like this one shot. I found the art...

Hey everyone, Just wanted to bust my blog cherry on this site and say hello. I am a DP fan and I have not as yet picked up the new one shot mostly because I have'nt herd great things about it. Is it worth picking up? I'm asking a bit of a redundant question cause I most likely will pick it up...I have a tiny bit of a comic addiction problem since of late. I have in the...

I have this issue of Captain America...the thing is, its a misprint. I have looked all over the internet trying to see if there were anymore like it anywhere and have come up with nothing. Has anyone else heard or seen any misprints on this issue? If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

  10. Wolverine Origin #1 signed and Amazing Spiderman 57 signed

    on Mar 14, 2009 7:20:00 pm - 587 views | 1 comments
I have the 1B(as listed on this site) of Wolverine Origin #1 signed by Michael Turner, Daniel Way and Steve Dillon. Does anyone know what the value of that would be? I know it's only worth 4 bucks right now unsigned but how much signed? Oh, and I have Amazing Spider-man #57 signed by John Romita, I'd grade the comic alone at a 5.0, but how much for that...
