Apologies to the readers of this blog for the entries getting a bit sparse during the summer months. I manage a hotel in Utah that sits right at the best spot to call it a night between the West Coast and Yellowstone. . .so from June to September it's a bit of a madhouse until school is back in.
Having a full house every night is great for business, but not so great for readin' and reviewin' comic books. Even as the night manager on the graveyard shift, there's a steady stream of people and an unrelenting amount of phone calls in the strange hours of the morning that even after all these years (15 years in the hotel biz) I find it hard to believe.
Even as I write this short entry, I've taken 4 phone calls and had 3 guests at my desk needing this or that over the past 30 minutes. It's 1:30 a.m.
It doesn't really settle back down until the second week of September. What I'm trying to say is that Longbox Junk will be back to business as usual soon. Be there or be square!
