well, it;s monday. time for another video. or at least time for another attempt to get this video/blogging thing right.
anyway......
this week's band is probablly not that well known due to the unexpected death of their singer right as they were about to hit it big. without these guys, there would be no pearl jam. literally, NO PEARL JAM. and the seattle grunge wave may have had a slightly different feel.
enjoy, and comment if the need accures.

got it on the 1st try.
Very Awsome.
i honestly didn't think anyone would comment on this 1.
i figured there would be a lot of "who the hell are these guys?'
or "hey, that looks like the guitarist and bass player for pearl jam."
i would have loved to se these guys live.
from what i've seen from video clips, andy wood was definitely abiout the show, just as much as about the music.
i also would have liked to se how the whole seattle grunge movement would have went w/ these guys at the forefront, instead of pearl jam and nirvana.
Read a lot about MLB and Green River after buying Temple of the Dog in the 90s. Andy Wood definitely sounded like a real showman.
havn't had a chnace to watch 1 yet though.
also check out malfunkshin, andy's band before love bone.
i think the seattle / grunge movement would have still happened.
but i think mother love bone would have influenced the sound a bit.
i don't think the "seattle sound' would have quite been the same though.
there was a home video put out a while back titled "the earth bone love affair".
i suggest anyone who is an andy wood/ mother love bone fan to hunt it down and check it out.

another thing that just popped into my head, andy wood was roomates w/ chris cornell of soundgarden.
i remember reading an interview 1 time w/ cornell saying that andy's death had a lot of influence on soundgarden's sound.
curious now though, if andy hadn't died, what would soundgarden have sounded like?
Too bad when good bands gain their noteriety through tragedy. If only everyone knew the art of continuing to put out new music after their death like Tupac...
