If you look through my comic collection you'll notice a trend, most of the comics have art by Michael Turner. He has been my favorite artist since my senior year back in 1998, when I first came across his amazing work in Witchblade. As an a budding artist, it made me want to push my skills to limit, and as a comic collector, I had to everything that was his, as it is all a work of art.
I just heard today that Michael passed on Friday and tears instantly flowed. I didn't know Michael personally, but had hoped to meet him at an upcoming WizardCon, even if it was just to tell him what an inspiration he was. Rest in peace Michael.
- read moreThis website is pretty cool, I remember when Comicspriceguide.com used to be free when it first opened, but now you can't get much features for free over there. I spent most of today adding my collection on here and I'm pleased with the search tools and good use of AJAX on this site :) Once I get a new scanner I'll help out with uploading covers.
