If you look through my comic collection you'll notice a trend, most of the comics have art by Michael Turner. He has been my favorite artist since my senior year back in 1998, when I first came across his amazing work in Witchblade. As an a budding artist, it made me want to push my skills to limit, and as a comic collector, I had to everything that was his, as it is all a work of art.

I just heard today that Michael passed on Friday and tears instantly flowed. I didn't know Michael personally, but had hoped to meet him at an upcoming WizardCon, even if it was just to tell him what an inspiration he was. Rest in peace Michael.

This website is pretty cool, I remember when Comicspriceguide.com used to be free when it first opened, but now you can't get much features for free over there. I spent most of today adding my collection on here and I'm pleased with the search tools and good use of AJAX on this site :)  Once I get a new scanner I'll help out with uploading covers.
