  • If a printing defect is common/prevalent in a production run then the defect is considered normal and the comic is not downgraded by the printing defect. True/Agree or False/Disagree? I seem to recall something that leaned towards it being true.

  • I don't see how that can be true. A comic is graded based on it's flaws independently, not based on what the other copies look like. That would be grading on a curve. If a book had 100 copies and all had a printing defect, then they would all be marked down accordingly. However, collectors could understand this and just internally consider VF to be NM for that copy and things like that.
